Christmas 2007

We celebrated Christmas in California this year. We started the day with french toast, fruit salad, eggs, and chocolate cake and ended the day with fried shrimp and calamari, chili verde, baked cod, ham, and of course another chocolate cake (and lots of other deserts).

We got out for a walk along SF Bay between meals and also had fun with a yankee swap. Shell and I are the proud new owners of a much sought-after National Parks Monopoly Game.

We had 13 people for dinner, which is a new record for our little cottage! Shelley's parents and Uncle Don flew in for the holiday, and Uncle Den and Aunt Margaret drove down from Lincoln. Our cousins Ryan and Marcela and Shannon and Gavin were also here, along with Jen, Scott, and the two of us. It was a nice gathering and very good to see everyone.
